How do Living Desktops work?

Living Desktops work by using the existing capabilities of your computer that are not normally in use. By taking advantage of the advanced capabilities of modern PC's graphics hardware and extended CPU instruction sets, Living Desktops are able to display amazing scenes using very minimal CPU resources. Living Desktops also support older PC's and work very well on most older computers.

What about Animated Wallpapers?

Lumesoft Living Desktops use different rendering technologies than animated wallpapers. Most animated wallpapers consume a huge amount of resources and slow down your CPU making it more difficult to use your computer. Living Desktops are designed purposefully to run very fast and not tie up your CPU. Also, Living Desktops allow the use of fast 3D graphics and full screen animations which most animated wallpapers can not support.

Do Living Desktops slow down my PC?

Living Desktops are specifically designed to use the least amount of computer resources possible and leave your CPU free to let you work without interruption. Living Desktops run very well on newer PCs and also run surprisingly well many older PCs. If you are truly concerned about your computer speed you can also enable idle mode or screensaver mode so that your Living Desktop is only active when you are not.
